- Tell us a little about yourself.
- I’m the youngest of 14 children – 7 brothers and 7 sisters
I was born and still live in Auckland, New Zealand, though I spent years travelling and living abroad in the UK, Europe, Australia, Philippines and USA.
Last year I made a huge career change after decades of selling new houses to working as an Employment Broker helping to get the unemployed back into work – less than half the income for me but ten times the satisfaction.
Two kids – a boy and a girl. Two grandkids – a boy and a girl.
- How did your relationship with Photography begin and how has it developed through the years?
- I’m so old that I can remember taking photos of my brother with a Kodak Box Brownie. I

Marius: My name is Marius Georgescu, I live in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. Next January, I will be 57. I'm in a long-term relationship with a beautiful and smart woman, Sorina - 42 years old.

Marius: My first encounter with Photography was 35 years ago, when an old friend and mentor taught me the basics of photographic art. After 5 years of self-study, I was admitted to the National Academy of Cinematography. Five years later, I graduated as a director of photography but I didn't get any assignment in the field of the film image since the Romanian Revolution , in1990. About
Born in 1972 in the Ukraine, in the former Soviet Union. A second generation photographer, freelance since 1995, working with Israel's leading newspapers.
Specialized in reportage, documentary and street photography, Felix Lupa has worked in social projects for magazines and Television and has taken part in many national and international exhibitions.
Lately dedicated to street photography, his approach to the genre is to serve 'as "public eye", conveying to us messages of the street's wisdom. These are multifaceted, complex messages in which the senses work powerfully conveying at high velocity the feeling of decisive moments of street and human life. The ability to see and connect with human situations is like a basic instinct, like breathing, and the public eye is the medium through which the artist expresses his particular point of view'.

Today I bring you Rinzi Ruiz.
He is a Los Angeles based photographer who picked up a camera only 2 years ago (I can relate

) Known to find beauty in humanity and in capturing the emotion, the mundane, and the art in reality that is found everywhere, without ignoring the fact that he has a background in fine arts and graphic design (but photography is "much more fun and rewarding").
He is a phenomenal black & white street photographer, a light painter and a user of profound dark shadows and light reflections.
He is currently shooting with his first DSLR, a Nikon D90, and a Fujifilm X100 (because he got physically tired of carrying the bag), and shoots mostly at about F/5.6 to F/8.

Saul Leiter - Vertical and AbstractAs you know, I normally don't do (features) Journals.
The exception goes to those photographers that had some historical importance in the photography World, those that influence(d) me, those that I believe can move others like they moved me, humanitarian photographers, and that normally live in the "shadow" of the same old Features and references.
This one is not the case, because I'm talking about Saul Leiter.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, his father was a well known Talmud scholar and Saul studied to become a Rabbi. At age 23, he left theology school and moved to New York City to become an artist. He had developed an early interest in painting, like so many photographers. His mother gave him his first camera, a Detrola camera, when he was 12 years old.
He was soon taking black and white pictures with a 35 mm Leica, which he acquired by exchanging a few Eugene Smith (exceptional photographer from Life magazine, among others) prints for it. By 1948 he began to ex
